About the role The Data Engineer is responsible for building, maintaining, and improving scalable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on AWS. The role is central to designing reliable data systems that support business-critical applications.

Key responsibilities: Design and build scalable data pipelines and architectures Work extensively with AWS services Collaborate in a small cross-functional team (backend&frontend engineers) Participate in daily sprint cycles Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions Improve performance, scalability, and data reliability 1 day per two weeks onsite in Terneuzen.

Who you are A hands-on Data Engineer who enjoys autonomy, technical ownership, and building in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Data Engineering experience or similar Strong hands-on AWS experience Solid understanding of ETL, data pipelines, and cloud architecture Proactive and self-driven mindset Interest in experimenting with modern technologies Strong English communication skills

Nice to have: Experience in small, agile teams Experience in sprint-based environments Interest in both infrastructure and application-level data use Visa sponsorship eligibility/support
