As an operations manager, you will have both the responsibility and the freedom to make that happen and drive the change across the site.

Our warehouse in Tholen covers about 94,000 m² of constant activity. As an operations manager, you ensure an efficient, scalable, and future‑proof operation, translating strategic objectives into concrete results while keeping an eye on profitability.

You will lead warehouse managers and supervisors, indirectly responsible for 80 to 180 employees. You are a visible, proactive leader who engages people in the organization’s goals, looks beyond daily operations, analyzes processes to identify cost‑saving opportunities, and independently develops calculations and business cases. Based on these insights, you initiate improvement projects that contribute to a more efficient and effective operation.

Responsibilities

Promoting process improvements, digitization, and automation to ensure the efficiency and future‑readiness of the warehouse.

Actively contributing to the development of your team’s skills and capabilities, ensuring optimal deployment of employees.

Guiding and monitoring new customer implementations or expansions, as well as optimizations for existing relationships.

Bridging the gap between functional needs and technical solutions while balancing sometimes competing interests.

Identifying synergies across different operations, demonstrating awareness of relationships and tailoring your communication to your audience.

Qualifications

A strong passion for the field, with the ability to convincingly share your enthusiasm with colleagues.

Experience in a related managerial role, preferably within the logistics sector.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and experience leading large‑scale improvement and innovation projects.

Analytical skills that allow you to identify bottlenecks and formulate effective solutions or process improvements.

Proficiency in both Dutch (B1 level) and English.
