Research scientist - focus on enzyme characterisation and optimisation for Bakery Applications
Responsibilities: Design and lead enzyme assay research to select and optimise the best candidate enzymes for diverse industrial bakery end use applications Collaborate with global partners, suppliers, universities, and technology providers Lead cross functional project teams
What you’ll do: Design and lead enzyme characterisation research Guide and coach lab technicians, interns and test bakers Support knowledge transfer across teams and regions through training, coaching, and collaboration Present research outcomes with clarity and commercial relevance to internal and externalstakeholders
What you’ll bring: MSc or PhD in Food Technology, Biochemistry, or related field A strong track record of working on relevant research where you have had responsiblity for the experimental strategy and design Deep understanding of bakery or carbohydrate active enzymes and how they can be assessed at abiochemical level
