Lead

SAP Finance Consultant

Role and Responsibilities

Dive deep into the core of our operations– reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business processes and systems.

Transform insights into living documents that define scope, objectives, and cutting-edge systems to fuel our big-picture business strategies.

Bridge between customer needs and innovative solutions, crafting user stories and software designs that bring ideas to life.

Guide businesses towards optimized processes and IT automation that align with their vision.

Study business functions, gather insights, and create output formats that meet objectives.

Map journey with workflows and diagrams, exploring system capabilities and outlining specifications for success.

Manage requirement backlogs and provide clear insights through customer interactions.

Infuse expertise into existing systems, designing modifications that drive efficiency.

Analyze operational challenges with insightful perspectives to light the way forward.

Elevate the role to trusted advisor, cultivating relationships that convey warmth and expertise.

Required Skills And Experience

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or information management.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience, including at least 2 full-cycle SAP Finance implementations in an international environment and at least 1 year of SAP S/4 Finance implementation experience. Experience in SAP Finance cloud (public or private) is a plus.

Expertise in Data Management; General Ledger; Accounts Receivable; Accounts Payable; Asset Accounting; Special Purpose Ledger; Month End/Year End Closing; Consolidations; Reconciliations; Intercompany Transactions; Financial Reporting, EBS, DME. SAP CO and SAP FS-CM are nice to have.

Agile/Scrum mindset– user stories, story points, backlog management, refinements.

T-shaped professional with ability to support pre-sales activities, maintain SAP network, and identify commercial opportunities.

Knowledge of Business/Enterprise Architecture concepts, TOGAF as a guide.

Comfort with modern technologies and turning change into opportunity.

Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation.

At least 1 SAP S/4 Finance certification; preferably Cloud.

Strong stakeholder management and ability to drive operational change through partnerships.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and curious mindset with the ability to uncover insights.

Focus on Public and Manufacturing markets.

Fluent in Dutch and English.
