Job Summary:

About the job We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. As an individual contributor, you will play a key role in daily accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, reconciling accounts and assisting with month-end close procedures and audit. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting overall business operations.

Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with US GAAP accounting standards. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations (BS review), responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing-related tasks, in line with the Group’s standard and local principles Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in audit processes. Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. Prepare comprehensive P&L reports by analyzing and reporting actual revenues, costs, and expenses. Perform overall checks on financial reports, and if discrepancies or areas requiring adjustments are identified, be able to make necessary adjustments directly within the financial reporting system. Support a culture of continuous improvement that ensures process flows and standard operating procedures are both kept current and reviewed by all staff and stakeholders.Various adhoc tasks that come up that need additional support.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in accountancy. At least 5 years of accounting work experience, including more than 3 years of general ledger experience. Those with work experience in manufacturing, automotive, and tech industry are preferred End-to-end accounting experience is a plus, experience in US GAAP or IFRS is a plusSAP experience is a must, SAP technical background knowledge is a plus Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Other languages are a plus, especially Dutch or Mandarin. Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure. Results-oriented with excellent planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
