Role Summary Financial Controller
Responsibilities
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, including the preparation of the annual financial statements
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and systems
Prepare management reports and analyses to support decision‑making
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Act as a key sparring partner to the CFO on financial and operational topics
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications
You have 7+ years of experience in a similar finance role, such as Financial Controller, Senior Accountant, or Audit Senior.
You bring a solid background in accounting, controlling, or audit, and are comfortable working with month‑end close and financial reporting.
You have experience owning or overseeing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, and ensuring financials are accurate and delivered on time.
You’re confident working with Dutch GAAP (with IFRS knowledge as a strong plus).
You’re comfortable taking end‑to‑end ownership of the financials and improving processes where needed.
You have experience collaborating with operational finance colleagues (e.g. AP/AR) and providing financial clarity to the wider business.
Benefits
€5,500 - €6,000 per month ex. holiday allowance (depending on knowledge and experience).
32-40 hour work week in a hybrid office setting, lunch included.
30 days of annual leave per year (based on full time).
Pension contribution of 7%.
Flexible spending budget of€40 per month for health and wellness.

Annual home office budget of€250.
