Tax Manager for Benelux , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Manage tax matters in the area of tax compliance e.g. CIT and VAT returns including monthly/quarterly returns, tax accounting under local GAAP and cash tax forecasting, WHT, tax audit.Provide tax analysis for the legal entity/entities in the BENELUX area on strategic tax issues or business model changes. Support global US Provision team on US GAAP accounting implications of the BENELUX operations. Assist with communication and negotiations with government authorities relating to tax matters.Support tax consideration on financing, funds flow management, etc. Partner with non-Tax stakeholders to help identify risks and opportunities for the business. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:Degree in Tax, Finance, or Accounting. A CPA, qualified Tax Advisor, or similar certification with focus on taxation is favorable. Mid-level position experience in tax with Big 4 CPA firms or tax/accounting function of Multi-national manufacturing companies. Willingness to develop further on international tax issues (VAT, withholding taxes, mergers&acquisitions, organizational restructuring, investments involving location management). Knowledge of tax accounting according to US GAAP and local GAAP (Belgium, Netherlands). Good knowledge of SAP-ERP System. Some flexibility to travel within the region, in particular Delft (Netherlands), Diegem (Belgium), and Neuss (Germany).Fluent in English and Dutch.
