Nordson Optical Sensors and Metrology, a member of Advanced Technology Solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Sales Manager to join our team in EMEA. Responsibilities
Meet revenue and gross margin targets for Optical Sensors and Metrology (OSM) Systems Product lines in the EMEA region. Develop and pursue new business and market opportunities, managing project activity and customer relationships to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Manage relationships at direct accounts, including OEMs, to optimize revenue and gross margin.Manage channel partners (manufacturers’ representatives and distributors), reviewing the distribution network and improving channel performance. Plan and participate in trade shows to promote products and create opportunities. Maintain customer profiles and up‑to‑date information in the CRM system, providing feedback to management and reporting on sales activities.Prepare short‑term and long‑term sales forecasts and gather relevant market information, including technology and industry trends, competitor developments, and changes in existing and emerging markets. Coordinate product demonstrations and evaluations that lead to a sale, either directly or via the distribution team.Summarize technical situations and business opportunities, sharing them with management and internal stakeholders via the CRM platform. Participate in the global applications forum and communicate new applications of products to resolve customer problems. Use Return‑On‑Investment analysis based on global use cases to increase adoption of WaferSense products within the customer base.Provide training on products to customers and channel partners as required. Support continuous improvement and innovation by providing feedback to product and engineering teams, reporting problems, and suggesting enhancements for our products. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above (engineering or scientific degree preferred). 5‑8 years of experience in a similar technical sales role with business development experience an added bonus. Experience as a process or equipment engineer or manager in PCBA, semiconductor backend, or relevant customer/supplierexperience preferred.Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills (German, French, Italian, or others) are a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working with customers and internal stakeholders. Proactive, aggressive in business; self‑driven and result‑oriented. Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, TEAMS) and a CRM package (Salesforce, C4C, etc.).Travel within EMEA: 50%‑65%; International travel: 5%.
