Company Details Since 2006 AgriFood Ingredients has imported several dry food commodities from around the world and imports them into Europe. Our company is specialized in a wide variety of pulses, seeds and grains supporting the veggie&plant-based protein revolution. We distribute to all kind of food companies in Europe directly from our own warehouses in The Netherlands. The ambition of our company is to continue our yearly growth and support the food industry with the best quality ingredients at reasonable prices.

Job Description Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced or upcoming

International Sales Representative

to strengthen our commercial team. In this role, your mission is clear: identify and develop new business opportunities and drive sustainable growth in the European market—together with our experienced team. You will work closely with our Traders, staying up to date on product market developments, supply dynamics and trading positions. This insight allows you to truly understand your customers’ needs and to build strong, long-term relationships by offering tailored solutions from our product portfolio.You will play a key role in expanding our business by managing and growing existing accounts, onboarding new customers and actively widening our product reach. With your commercial mindset and negotiation skills, you know how to turn opportunities into successful deals. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and tactical skills, who is proactive, accurate and well-organized when managing the details of customer relationships and internal coordination. You enjoy taking ownership and thrive in an international, dynamic environment.This role also includes

international travel , giving you the opportunity to meet customers face-to-face and represent our company at major trade fairs across Europe.

Main Job Activities§ Maintain, strengthen and grow long-term customer relationships across the European market § Actively acquire new customers and develop new business opportunities § Represent the company during customer visits, international meetings and trade fairs § Lead contract discussions and conduct price negotiations with customers§ Continuously follow, analyze and anticipate market trends, price movements and demand developments § Identify opportunities to expand and diversify the product portfolio in line with customer needs § Work closely with colleagues from trading, logistics and operations to ensure smooth execution of deals

Who are we looking for?§ Bachelor-level (HBO) working and/or thinking level, preferably in a commercial or business-related field § 2–5 years of experience in sales, trading or the food industry — or ready for your next step in an international environment § A hands-on, enthusiastic and driven commercial talent with a proactive mindset§ Entrepreneurial by nature, not afraid to take initiative and seize opportunities § Strong communication skills and confidence in building lasting relationships § Curious and analytical, with an eye for both opportunities and details § A team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues and learning from experienced traders§ Results-driven and motivated to grow both personally and professionally § Fluent in English and German; Dutch and/or French is a big plus § Interest in food products; knowledge of pulses, seeds or grains is an advantage but can also be developed on the job § Familiarity with food safetyand quality systems (BRC, IFS, ISO) is a plus, but not a requirement
