Allegion is a global security solutions provider that helps people keep homes, workplaces and public spaces safe. In this role, the ERP Production Specialist serves as the link between the production floor, the business analyst and the ERP project team. Responsibilities
Proactively manage and monitor all time‑sensitive production needs and the proper functioning of the ERP system. Review production orders, manage deviations, identify root causes of exceptions and, when necessary, elevate issues to prevent customer impact. Direct accurate production data and create operating / production reports anddashboards from ERP and OEE to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.Translate production‑floor processes into technical requirements and specifications. Support process‑design workshops and provide input on production‑related configurations (e.g. piping, work centres, MRP, shop‑floor control, bills of materials, quality controls). Create, maintain and validate the master datarequired for production (items, BOMs, routes, raw materials, services, work centres).Develop and execute test plans for unit, integration, batch processes and user‑acceptance tests focused on production and shop‑floor scenarios; document problems and verify solutions. Develop test scripts and realistic test data that reflect actual production conditions and exceptions. Provide practical system demonstrations to key users and operators; prepare trainingmaterial (work aids, step‑by‑step handovers).Support first‑level post‑go‑live production users, triage incidents, reproduce defects and elevate issues to the central IT/consulting team. Participate in cut‑over planning and execution of production processes (e.g. final data migration, freeze checks, go‑live validation) for releases and new releases.Identify and recommend process improvements and system optimisations to improve production performance and usability. Maintain documentation of production processes, configuration settings and known problem‑solutions. Qualifications
Strong understanding of production processes– floor operations, work orders, parts, piping, capacity planning, MRP, quality control and common production constraints. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or equivalent) and familiarity with upgrades and releases. Good grasp of data structures and master‑data management in relation to production.Practical problem‑solving skills and the ability to reproduce and diagnose system issues. Effective communicator capable of working with operators, supervisors, key users, IT and external consultants. Documentation and training skills – the ability to create clear, concise and user‑friendly training aids andplans.Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and process‑oriented thinking. Comfortable working on the shop floor and in cross‑functional project teams; adaptability under live‑pressure. Diploma in industrial engineering, production engineering, operations management, information systems, or a related field.3–7years of practical experience in production/operations within a manufacturing environment.
