Senior Integration consultant, Veenendaal

AppyThings is hiring a senior integration consultant who designs and enables API and event driven connectivity for enterprise environments.

You combine hands on integration engineering with strong knowledge of cloud platform components such as networking, subscriptions, identity and secret management. This allows you to design integrations that are secure, scalable and operationally solid.

In addition to building integrations, you help application teams integrate correctly by coaching developers on patterns, wrappers and software development lifecycle practices.

For this role you need to be located in the Netherlands.

You join the integration team and design how systems communicate across cloud and on premise environments. You do not build product features. You design and build the integration layer that keeps enterprise platforms reliable, secure and scalable.

Designing APIs and integrations using Azure, GCP or Kafka API Management

Building event driven integrations with Event Grid, Event Hub or Service Bus

Developing serverless integration components using Azure Functions

Working with Azure or GCP platform components such as networking, subscriptions, identity and secret management

Automating infrastructure using Terraform

Building and maintaining CI CD pipelines

Advising clients on integration architecture, security and scalability

Helping application teams build proper wrappers and integrations around existing systems

Coaching developers on integration patterns and development lifecycle practices

Representing AppyThings professionally as a consultant at clients

Requirements Must have

Strong hands on Azure, GCP or Kafka experience

Experience building integrations beyond simple REST endpoints

Experience with Azure or GCP API Management and event driven architectures

Knowledge of Azure platform components such as networking, identity and secret management

Experience with Terraform and CI CD pipelines

Strong communication skills and consultancy mindset

Fluent English and based in the Netherlands

Experience with event driven systems
