Job Overview In a society that increasingly relies on digital processes, the reliability, security and resilience of our national IT systems are critical. This role focuses on developing smart technologies that prevent, detect and efficiently resolve failures with major societal impact. You will work on a graduation assignment as part of the project“Mission: Impossible – Critical IT Protocol”, building IT solutions for critical societal challenges in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

Research and evaluate how IRMA (I Reveal My Attributes) can be integrated into customer onboarding processes.

Determine appropriate use cases for attribute‑based signatures and assess their value in verifying document origin.

Explore integration with CryptPad or similar collaborative platforms to provide zero‑knowledge authentication.

Set up IRMA, prototype the integration workflow, and analyze the resulting privacy benefits.

Document findings, justify recommendations, and propose a legally binding implementation strategy.

Qualifications

Background in cryptography, security or related fields.

Experience with privacy‑preserving identity solutions is highly desirable.

B2 language proficiency in Dutch is required.
