Job Description The warehouse automation systems of our client keep global supply chains moving. In this role, you will take ownership of the solutions that make it all work, delivering real impact in a fast‑moving, high‑tech environment. You will take ownership of complete customer IT/ OT solutions, act as the technical point of contact and ensure seamless performance across the customer lifecycle. Your responsibilities As a Service Solution Architect, you are the technical lead for the IT/OT (emphasis on IT part) solution delivered to your assigned customer accounts. You work across various technologies - not on isolated products, but on the full integrated solution running operations on customer sites.

You will:

Have a“helicopter” overview of the technical solution;

Oversee (major) incident, problem, and change management;

Coordinate with internal teams and customers to align technical delivery with business;

Translate customer needs into technical improvements and operational advice;

Drive system optimizations and improvements;

Accountable for the technical solution and proper implementation, changes as well as validation, testing, and documentation to ensure high quality delivery.

Who you are You are architectural and technically skilled, customer‑oriented and solution‑focused professional who thrives on complexity.

We are looking for someone with:

5+ years of experience in IT/OT roles (emphasis on IT) with customer interaction (e.g. system integration, testing, infrastructure, or software delivery in business‑critical environments)

A bachelor’s degree in a technical field like IT, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related/similar technical field.

Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).

Ability to perform well under pressure (e.g. during escalations or major incidents), set priorities, and manage time effectively.

A sharp, analytical mindset, you mainly work on the big picture, while getting detail‑oriented when needed.

A working knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks. ITIL4 certification is a plus.

Overall knowledge regarding: (not all needs to be known from the start, topics can still be trained)

database, cyber security awareness;

IT Software: e.g. system messaging&communication, WCS/WMS knowledge, Identity Access Management, logging analysis, data analysis tools;

Release management, ability to determine which releases to bring to a customer;

Willingness to travel (~10‑20%, both domestic and international).
