What will you be doing?
As a Mechanical Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing technical layouts and components for both potential and active projects. You will apply the latest technologies such as robotics, computer vision, machine learning, and AGVs to create smart, practical, and reliable solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines and departments, ensuring seamless integration of mechanical designs into complex systems.
Tasks and responsibilities
Create a product concept and a design by 3D modelling
Solution realization and testing in our Innovation Center
Release designs and documentation for production with a quality mindset
Supporting internal customers by answering their technical questions like Sales, Project engineering, Service and Supply chain
You are responsible for the mitigation of design risks
Keeping our product information up to date
Contribute in the development of your technical domain

What we ask from you
You have a vocational education Master (WO)/Bachelor (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering
You have 5+ years of relevant working experience and a strong interest in mechanics, problem solving, production techniques and machinery
You have experience with 3D CAD software preferably SolidWorks
You are skilled in FMEA, FEA (FEM), and machinery development, with solid knowledge of CE marking and applicable machine safety regulations (e.g., Machinery Directive, ISO standards)
You are an entrepreneur, eager to learn and want to improve every day; the drive to win
You have excellent communication skills and are a good team player across multidisciplinary teams
You will get the opportunity to travel abroad (up to 10%)
Good command of English is mandatory and Dutch is preferred

This position offers a competitive salary range of€4,700 to €5,600 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance).
