Field Service Specialist (FSC/SPOx/PLC), Veghel

As an FSC/SPOx/PLC Field Service Specialist at Vanderlande, you serve as the ambassador and technical source for systems that use FSC/SPOx/PLC. Your challenge is to ensure each system performs optimally by proactively supporting customers and internal colleagues. Responsibilities

Work with the service contract manager to prioritize tickets and follow up. Prepare customer visits, including gathering project information and reviewing previous visits. Provide thorough post‑visit reports with advice for customers or the internal organization. Initiate meetings with stakeholders.Provide practical training and coaching to fellow technicians. Advise on readiness for system service takeover. Commission FSC/SPOx/PLC‑driven new projects and/or extensions in line‑ and loop‑sorters. Visit sites proactively to gather knowledge, identify improvements, and solve future issues.Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer (MBO level). Knowledge and experience with electro‑mechanical systems. Proficiency with bus networks: Profibus, ASI bus, Interbus, Profinet, TCP/IP communication. High knowledge of PLC (for SPOx/PLC part) and ability to analyze log data.Pragmatic approach to complex incidents. Some software experience is a plus. Good skill working with IT systems. Strong communication skills; fluent in Dutch and English. Experience in logistics, mail or baggage sorting systems is an advantage. Willingness to travel 40‑50% internationally.
