Then this might be the job for you.Job Mission As Supplier Operational Excellence Manager, you are responsible for the quality and operational performance of a selected number of key suppliers. You are part of a multidisciplinary team that strategically manages our key suppliers. Main focus areas include driving suppliers to a zero defect mindset, enabling accelerated learning, performing process optimization, and developing the supply chain to a high maturity level.You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to drive supplier development and technical process improvements, such as quality and yield improvement, process control, cycle time reduction, and risk analysis and reduction. Job Description As a Supplier Operational Excellence Manager, your focus areas are operational accountability, supplier development, and cross-functional teamwork.Operational Accountability Responsible for the operational excellence performance of suppliers and their n-tier suppliers. KPIs include: dead on arrivals, complaints&deviations, material parts quality score. You will monitor, review, and drive supplier quality performance, analyzing quality issues, and implementing technical solutions during material availability escalations. Supplier Development Drive supplier development on operational excellence topics, optimize manufacturing processes at suppliers, and contribute to ASML's sourcing strategy towards 2020.Cross-Functional Teamwork Build and develop technical competencies within ASML to support operational excellence at suppliers. Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the future supply chain and early quality requirement integration. Drive process improvements and coach team members. Education Masters degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, optical, or industrial engineering.Experience 5 to 10 years relevant experience, preferably in high-tech, low-volume industries. Experience in supplier management, quality improvement, operational excellence, and leading quality projects across the supply chain. Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, Black Belt certification is a plus.Personal Skills Excellent stakeholder management, strategic thinking, analytical skills, pragmatic and results-driven, strong negotiation and communication skills. Context of the Position SNM manages over 100 supply chains, addressing bottlenecks and risks, and works to reduce cycle times, increase flexibility, and ensure supply chain resilience to technological and market changes.Other Information SCM is responsible for material availability, working proactively with technical departments and suppliers to prevent issues and ensure supply chain efficiency.
