Job Mission

The job mission of the Senior Manager Export Controls is to execute and ensure export control compliance while proactively supporting ASML and its business partners across regions.

Job Description

Strategy:

Implement the global Strategy for Export Controls and develop policies to manage adherence and execution of these strategies.

Export Control Compliance:

Implement policies and guidelines to safeguard compliance with ASML’s Global Export Control Strategy, manage adherence, and ensure compliance with export control laws in all jurisdictions involved.

Risk Mitigation:

Manage risk identification and mitigation related to Export Controls, advise the business, and maintain the framework of controls to mitigate risks effectively.

Stakeholder Management:

Maintain open relationships with licensing and enforcement authorities, represent ASML during government audits, and collaborate with external advisors and internal teams to ensure compliance and effective project implementation.

Consultancy:

Advise internal and external stakeholders on export control topics, including ECCN classification, licensing, and controls for shipments and technology transfers.

Advocacy:

Represent ASML in external interest groups, peer meetings, and government bodies to influence policies and decisions affecting export controls.
