Job Mission ASML produces machines with nanometer accuracy. This means the calibration accuracy of these machines is in fractions of nanometers. The Reference and Control team within ASML is responsible for some of these sub-nanometer calibrations. The goal is to identify and understand error patterns, which is a complex data science challenge.

Job Description The primary goal is to discover hidden, previously unknown error patterns that are statistically significant, verified on large data sets. The secondary goal is to interpret these patterns physically. This project requires knowledge of data science concepts and optimization techniques such as Evolutionary Algorithms, surrogate model optimization, Bayesian optimization, and more. You will collaborate with a team of experts in optimization and metrology.
