Operations Strategy&Excellence (OSE) is responsible for leading the Operations sector towards Operational Excellence (Blue DNA). It is important to ensure that the right capabilities are available, improved, and matured. These capabilities are derived from and aligned with the ASML Product strategy. The Design team within OSE orchestrates the Strategy Deployment process (Hoshin Kanri) and maintains a Transformation roadmap, setting priorities and managing dependencies between breakthroughs. The team will:Bring industry best practices and standards to Operations, combined with new scientific technologies and solutions. Drive fact-based decision making using industry standards and benchmarks. Realize standardization by leveraging the House of Capabilities and a well-maintained network of Competence Centers.Together with OSE Business Partners, the roadmap with capability breakthroughs and transformations will be translated into a balanced portfolio aligned with the long-term Operations Mission and Vision. The House of Capabilities provides a framework and common language for alignment within ASML. Job Mission

The Senior Industrial Strategy Manager: Uses deep knowledge of Operations, Industrialization, and supply chain to detect future product roadmap requirements and new technologies/competencies/performance ambitions for Operations. Defines and leads the yearly Operations’ Industrial Strategy cycle.Leads strategic studies to ensure Operations is prepared and can deliver required performance on cost, quality, delivery, and safety. Drives the decision-making process to initiate strategic programs. Represents Operations in relevant make-buy decisions. Job Description

Early detects new capabilities for Operations from the ASML product roadmap and translates them into relevant programs. Gathers input on the Product roadmap and collaborates with Strategic Sourcing and D&E on make-buy decisions. Advises Operations Leadership on developing in-house competencies and make-buy strategies. Ensures insights into new manufacturing competencies such as 3D Printing and Automation (e.g., Smart Factory), defining relevant programs to meet future performance levels. Collaborates with Industrial Engineering in D&E. Contributes to defining and implementing Operations&Industrial Strategies. Proactively seeks Operations opportunities like economies of scale, leveraging competencies globally, and in- and outsourcing. Defines, prepares, leads, executes, and delivers programs/projects (e.g., make or buy, Operations Impact Assessment, New Manufacturing Competencies) according to objectives and deliverables.
