Data Science | Computer Science Internship: Reporting Operations Team Veldhoven

Introduction As part of the Reporting Operations team, you work alongside a multidisciplinary group of data specialists and analysts who are dedicated to improving the daily experience of employees across the organization. The team’s mission is to identify and remove inefficiencies, enhance collaboration, and enable smarter decision-making through actionable insights.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Reporting Intern to support a focused assignment within our Reporting team. This internship will center around a specific project aimed at improving our reporting capabilities and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders. You’ll use your analytical skills and Python expertise to help design, automate, and refine data reporting processes.

Your assignment As part of the dynamic team, the selected intern are expected to perform the following tasks:

Develop and implement a reporting solution tailored to a defined operational challenge or opportunity

Analyze relevant datasets and translate findings into clear, insightful outputs

Document methodology, tools used, and outcomes for knowledge sharing and future use

Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and impact

This is a bachelor's or master's level internship (non thesis), starting in September 2026 for minimum 4 months with possibility to extend. The team operates in hybrid environment.

Your profile To be the ideal candidate, you are currently enrolled in business, HR, data analytics, computer science/data science or related discipline. Additionally, you also have:

Strong coding skills in Python

Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI or Spotfire

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

Good communication and collaboration skills

Interest in HR operations and data-driven decision making

Other requirements you need to meet: You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;

You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
