As an

Inventory Controller at UPS Venlo , you’re responsible for analyzing and optimizing the stock in our warehouse. You initiate and organize daily stock checks, proactively scan system inventories and system orders to detect irregularities in inventories. When discrepancies arise, you investigate them in the customer systems and resolve them accordingly.

What You'll Do

Initiate and organize daily stock checks, cycle counts, and wall-to-wall counts.

Monitor system inventories and system order processing to detect irregularities.

Produce and improve management reports showing inventory levels, count results, error categories, and root causes of inaccuracies.

Hold regular meetings with key employees to discuss count results, root causes, and corrective actions; follow up on agreed actions.

Initiate process and system improvements to reduce the probability of stock inaccuracies.

Communicate regularly with the warehouse floor, office team leaders, the warehouse manager, and the purchasing department.

Deliver daily management reports to track results.

What You'll Need

MBO educational level with knowledge of and experience within logistics.

Experience with Microsoft Office.

Great communication skills: you easily build relationships with colleagues.

Fluency in English; fluency in Dutch is a plus.

Flexibility to work in shifts (two shifts: 6:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 00:00).
