Software Quality Engineer, Venlo

We are looking for a

Software Quality Engineer

to join a high-tech development environment focused on complex, software-driven systems.

In this role, you will work within an agile project setting on

system software , covering everything from customer workflow integration to

real-time embedded software . A key component of the solution is a user interface that enables operators to work efficiently and reliably.

As part of the quality team, you will be responsible for the

verification and validation

of an integrated product, ensuring high performance and reliability at system level.

What You’ll Do

Review and assess software requirements and feature specifications

Define and drive test strategies and plans to detect issues early in the development process (shift-left)

Align on functional, unit, and system testing activities and follow up on results and improvement actions

Collaborate with Service&Support and key internal stakeholders

Initiate and steer improvement actions to resolve customer-related issues

Plan and execute regular system and end-to-end tests

Ensure proper release documentation and knowledge transfer to downstream teams

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field

Ideally 3–5 years of experience in software development and/or software quality testing

Strong quality mindset and experience with modern testing tools and methodologies

Good communication skills in

English and Dutch , with confidence to raise quality concerns

Hands‑on attitude and motivation to continuously improve software quality
