supporting the aftersales operations service - Location: Venray, The Netherlands | International travel: approx. 20–30% We’re looking for an ambitious Field Service Manager as part of our clients Aftersales Service operations. The main areas of the business include: Automatic Trailer Loading (ATLS), Air Cargo Handling Solutions (ACE), Manual Loading Solutions (MLS) and Conveyor solutions. Knowledge in 1 ormore of these areas will be essential.As the newly created Field Service / Aftersales Service Manager; you’ll be responsible for setting up a service division covering global aftersales activities across multiple product lines. You’ll lead existing teams, strengthen service operations, and drive customer satisfaction worldwide. This will suit someone who thrives in an international environment andknows how to turn excellent service into lasting customer relationships.What you’ll do
Lead and inspire a global team of technicians and service staff. Develop and roll out a strategy for a European– and later global – service organisation. Integrate service operations from different divisions under one management structure. Drive service initiatives, from preventive maintenance to upgrades and spare parts.Act as the trusted partner for key customers and manage escalations with confidence. Ensure contracts, SLAs, and warranties are delivered to the highest standards. Identify opportunities to grow aftersales activities and turn them into action. Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Engineering to improve processes.Promote safety, quality, and compliance across all service activities. What you bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. 5+ years’ experience in a service or aftersales leadership role, including 24/7 support. Strong track record managing teams in an international environment. Knowledge of or affinity with machinery, logistics, warehousing, or airport industries (air cargo experience is a plus).Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively across different cultures and team levels. Customer-first mindset with strong commercial awareness. Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus). Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20–30%).Job details
