Team Manager - Private Equity (Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency) CACEIS is the asset servicing banking group of Crédit Agricole dedicated to asset managers and institutional investors. Job Summary The role is based in Canada, within the Private Equity and Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department. As Team Manager, you will lead the Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency activities, ensuring optimal functioning, staff supervision, and contribution to department development.

Responsibilities

Manage daily activities, setting priorities, objectives, and deadlines.

Ensure task quality and deadline compliance through KPI monitoring.

Provide technical accounting and consolidation support to the team.

Forecast resource needs and maintain efficiency.

Communicate with management, report alerts and blockers.

Advise on process and procedure evolution and enforce correct application.

Act as escalation point for clients and investors worldwide.

Build constructive relationships with team members and cross‑functional departments.

Foster a positive team environment, motivate and support staff during challenges.

Co‑coach, mentor, and develop employee skills, define objectives and evaluate results.

Participate in recruitment, selection, non‑recurring and cross‑functional projects.

Experience&Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in Fund accounting, preferably with Private Equity or Real Estate funds.

Proven people‑management experience, coaching, development, and mentoring.

Required Skills

Knowledge of consolidation software (ideally Mona/Sigma).

Experience with accounting software such as BOB50, GPC, YARDI.

Strong analytical, synthesis, and organizational skills.

Advanced interpersonal, leadership, and initiative abilities.

Proactive anticipation, foresight, and adaptability in constraints.

Attention to detail, rigor, and commitment to quality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

In‑depth understanding of investment funds, securities, Real Estate activities, and technical accounting and tax rules (IFRS, US GAAP, VAT, corporate tax).

Knowledge of legal forms and financial instruments, including valuation methods.
