(Senior) Automation Engineer

to join long-term, high-end naval defence projects. This role sits at the heart of complex ship automation— from concept and design to testing, commissioning and final delivery of state-of-the-art naval vessels.

Your role As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will: Design and develop automation concepts for complex ship systems (PLC / SCADA) Prepare functional descriptions, specifications and engineering documentation Define and execute test&validation plans (FAT, HAT, SAT, simulations) Work in a

model-based systems engineering (MBSE)

environment following the

V-model Review and integrate vendor&subcontractor designs Support commissioning activities and proposal phases Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Your background 5+ years

of experience in automation engineering (PLC / SCADA) Experience in

maritime, offshore, defence or aerospace

environments Strong exposure to complex, multi-supplier projects Familiarity with MBSE and V-model workflows Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering (or similar) EU citizenship&EU passport required

(mandatory due to military projects) Ability to pass security screening
