Key Account Sales Executive– Belux Location: Groenlo, Netherlands
Hours: 32–38 hours per week
What are you going to do? As Key Account Sales Executive, your primary focus is on generating new customers within the Belux region (Belgium and Luxembourg). You sit at the table of large and well‑known organisations, such as multinationals and public bodies, where large scale and complexity come together. You play a central role in the sales process, following up leads, analysing customer challenges and successfully closing deals.
Responsibilities
Actively follow up leads provided by marketing and SDRs, and make relevant connections with Key Accounts yourself.
Act as a domain expert in access management, badge management and credential technologies to discover pain points together with customers and stakeholders. Facilitate workshops to identify challenges, map needs and perform fit‑gap analyses.
Comfortably sell a modular and early‑stage SaaS product: not feature‑driven, but focused on vision and a good understanding of where our solution fits customer needs – including features that may not yet be in scope.
Lead and coordinate the entire sales process from discovery to closing the deal: identify the DMU, budget, timelines and follow the SPICED methodology. Involve colleagues across different layers of the customer organisation when needed.
Conduct commercial negotiations and complete tenders. Work closely with Customer Success when preparing offers to assess implementation effort and align on success criteria.
Update the team and executives on deal progress and ask for support where needed. Capture all appointments and deal information in HubSpot (CRM) and manage the pipeline accurately.
Team You will become part of our Market‑Solutions Team within our business unit Security with colleagues operating both from our headquarters in the Netherlands and remotely from different parts of Europe. This team includes commercial professionals along the entire customer journey. Think Marketing, SDR, Sales, Implementation Consultants and Customer Success.
The Market‑Solutions Team is led by our Market‑Solutions Director and is responsible for growing our business at Key Accounts with a strong focus on SaaS sales. You will be coached by our Sales Director, with whom you will have weekly contact about ongoing projects.
In this role you will also work closely together with other sales, channel development and support colleagues in the Belux region, from our office in Vilvoorde. Communication with team members can take place both in the office and online. We meet as Market‑Solutions Team at least several times a year to exchange experiences, celebrate successes and discuss plans and progress.

Required Skills
Experience: At least 5 years in sales, preferably in selling (software) services (subscriptions) and complex solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree (HBO/WO level) in a commercial field or comparable background.
Languages: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, with strong knowledge of the Belgian and Luxembourg markets.
Key qualities: Perseverance and creativity to successfully manage and close long and complex sales cycles.
