As Operations Manager, you are ultimately responsible for a significant part of the transport and distribution activities within the Benelux, with a fleet of 175 trucks, over 200 trailers, and 295 employees. You are part of the local management team as well as the broader management team of Vos Logistics. In this role, you operate at the intersection of strategy, tactics, and operations, translating long‑term goals into concrete improvements in the business. You drive performance, optimize processes, and achieve higher service levels and cost efficiency, with an eye on both customer experience and results.

You play a key role in the further digitalization of the organization and actively work towards a data‑driven approach, where the deployment of new technologies such as AI also plays an important role. At the same time, you take the lead in sustainability by focusing on more efficient transport and reducing the ecological footprint. This way, you make a direct contribution to the strategic direction of the organization and to the development of the sector.

As Operations Manager, you build strong teams and create a culture of ownership and continuous improvement. You are a leader who actively develops their employees to a higher level, by stimulating insights, self‑reflection, collaboration, and ownership. You work from a position of trust, know how to empower people, and create an environment in which learning, accountability, and shared responsibility are central. You work closely with customers and internal stakeholders and are able to identify opportunities for growth and optimization and turn them into concrete results.

A salary between€6,376.43 and €8,736.77;

Vos Logistics Benelux Distribution is a logistics service provider in the field of 24‑hour distribution, warehousing, cross docking, container handling, and International Transport via Freight Management. With 65,000 m2 of storage and crossdock facilities in Woerden, we are excellently positioned in the Randstad and capable of efficiently delivering to stores, businesses, and consumers. We do this with a modern fleet of 175 vehicles and more than 200 towed units.
