A leading engineering and construction company is seeking an experienced
HSE Advisor
to provide guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters across multiple projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with legal and industry standards, support project teams, and promote a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and risk assessments. Conduct site inspections, audits, and compliance checks to identify and mitigate risks. Provide technical HSE advice to project teams and contractors. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, producing reports and actionable recommendations.Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to employees and subcontractors. Keep up to date with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in HSE advisory roles within engineering, construction, or related sectors. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence teams and promote a culture of safety.Relevant HSE qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred.
