Wat ga je doen? Join our MarTech Cluster as a DevOps Engineer. You are responsible for continuous improvement and upkeep of the backend services for our Customer Messaging team.
The role focuses on developing solutions for customer-facing communication via email, in-app messaging, push messaging and the messaging inbox in the Albert Heijn app.
Responsibilities
Improve and maintain backend services for customer messaging channels (in-app, push, email, inbox).
Collaborate on combining vendor tools with custom-built solutions and develop a robust data foundation that supports automation and efficient processes.
Work with technologies such as Kotlin, Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB, ArgoCD and Grafana observability stack.
Support both marketing and operational messaging streams and participate in future marketing campaign orchestration.
Qualifications
8+ years as a DevOps engineer with backend development focus on Kotlin.
Knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Cloud and DevOps practices.
Strong service design skills, integration with third parties, and observability expertise.
Team player proactive and passionate about tech.
Bonus: experience with Kafka, MongoDB and building software for marketing campaigns.
