Data Steward EDM, Zaandam

We are looking for a Data Steward (DS) with a passion for master data and biscuits. The DS works within the pladis Europe&Developing Markets (EDM) organisation, reporting to the Manager of Data Management Office, and is part of the IS/IT department. Responsibilities

Maintain the master data in the ERP system (JD-Edwards). Register projects in the Data Management System (DMS) and on SharePoint. Monitor and process all DMS requests. Sense‑check supplied master data. Update user–defined tables in JD‑Edwards. Perform data cleansing. Maintain data related to eco‑tax requirements.Generate new GTINs (barcodes) for entities. Synchronise product data via the internal PIM system. Maintain the Customer&Supplier Address Book. Set up Bill of Materials (BoM) for copack activities. Validate provided cost‑price calculations. Perform BoM housekeeping: packaging updates and inactivation of obsoletes. Add or update purchase&customer prices. Calculate cost prices and inter‑company prices based on internal financial rules. Accountable for the Management Information System (MIS). Prepare and execute the annual cost‑update process. Handle daily data management of regional sites in conjunction with their main sales markets.Work independently, making decisions within agreed guidelines and procedures. Discuss master‑data subjects with international colleagues and peers in other regions. Report potential issues in a timely manner. Assist colleagues with their master‑data related questions. Qualifications

Education at HBO level in Data, Business, Logistics, or Finance. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role or a strong ambition to learn and build the required knowledge and skills. Knowledge of JD‑Edwards, SRC‑PDM&GS1. Familiarity with eco‑tax rules (Verpact). Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch and English. Highly organised, able to communicate professionally and follow up in a clear and timely manner. Capable of working independently and as part of ateam.Proactive, results‑driven, and adheres to best practices. Eager to learn and delve into details. Benefits
