Senior Accountant, Zaltbommel

(\"MI\") is a leading provider of fleet management systems and vehicle security solutions in NL, DE and UK. MI operates a finance Shared Service Center from its head office in Zaltbommel to facilitate it's rapidly growing European network of operating companies. MI will continue to add 3 entities per year in the coming years. Services provided to the operating companies by the finance service center include: (i) Accounting and Reporting, (ii) Customer billing, (iii) Accounts Payable and (iv) Treasury.

The finance team currently consists of the CFO, the Group Controller (\"GC\") and 5 Finance specialists of which 1 located in Berlin and 1 in Manchester.

For the Zaltbommel HQ team we are looking for an ambitious accountant who will report to the Group Controller and assist her with the accounting and reporting requirements for all group entities. This role can be an ideal step for an accountant looking for an international role, working hands‑on and at the same time providing guidance to other team members when necessary.

Responsibilities

Taking care of daily financial administration for multiple entities

Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with GAAP

Together with the GC lead the month‑end close for all Group entities

Develop and maintain Business Reporting

Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes

Research and analyze variances for company management

Coordinate annual forecasting and budgeting processes

Qualifications

3+ years' of professional accounting experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
